Asiatic Lilies are popular in bouquets and gardens. Like all true lilies (Lilium genus), they are fatally toxic to cats. The pollen is especially dangerous as cats can ingest it while grooming.

Symptoms in Dogs

If your dog eats Asiatic Lily, watch for these symptoms (onset: 6 to 12 hours):

  • Vomiting
  • Lethargy
  • Kidney failure (cats)
  • Loss of appetite
  • Death (cats)
