Rex Begonias are grown for their stunning patterned foliage in shades of silver, purple, pink, and red. Like all begonias, they contain soluble calcium oxalates. Leaf ingestion is mildly irritating; rhizome ingestion (rare) is more concerning.

  • Vomiting
  • Kidney irritation (large amounts)

What To Do
